Is Dak in or out… that is the biggest question going into Sunday Night Football tonight. So writing my preview for this game is going to be difficult, in regards to the Cowboys at least. So here is what we are going to do. First I will talk about the Cowboys if Dak Plays. Second I will talk about if Dak sits. Then I’ll talk about the Vikings. With that out of the way, here we go.

Oh and by the way – HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

If Dak Prescott ($16,800 Captain, $11,200 Flex, $16,000 FD) plays, I want to build around his pass catchers in the Captain Spot on DK – Amari Cooper ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex, $11,500 FD) , CeeDee Lamb ($14,700 Captain, $9,800 Flex, $12,500 FD), Dalton Schultz ($9,900 Captain, $6,600 Flex, $10,000 FD) primarily and for FD MVP, I like Tony Pollard ($8,100 Captain, $5,400 Flex, $8,500 FD). The reason for my picks for Captain on DK is two fold. First, with Dak potentially playing hurt I think most of his fantasy value will be in his arm and Second, with the possibility of Dak re-injuring himself and leaving the game having a pass catcher at Captain and not Dak can potentially save your lineup from disaster.

I like Tony Pollard as an MVP on FD also for a few reasons. First, it’s always better to play an RB at the MVP since there are no yardage bonuses allowed. Second he will see targets from Dak as well as attempts so I like the chance for double points. Third even if Dak leaves the game I have little doubt in Pollard’s involvement in the offense.

Whether Dak is in or not however, has little to do with how much I like Ezekiel Elliot ($13,800 Captain, $9,200 Flex, $13,500 FD). I think the Cowboys lean on Big Zeke tonight with Prescott gimpy. Additionally the Vikings are allowing over 120 yards on the ground so I think he will have plenty of space to run. Love Zeke tonight. Additionally Tony Pollard won’t only be a FD play for me, I think he needs to be in your player pool to plug in, in lineups without Zeke.

I also like double stacking Dak with either Cooper or Lamb and either Dalton Schultz or taking a dart throw on Blake Jarwin ($3,000 Captain, $2,000 Flex, $6,500 FD). Jarwin is good for a few targets a game and while it is clear Schultz is the #1 Tight End, there is always a potential for a Jarwin Red Zone look so I don’t mind a share or two of Jarwin if you are mass multi entering…

If you are looking for a cheap dart throw for the Cowboys it’s wide receiver 3 Cedrick Wilson ($6,000 Captain, $4,000 Flex, $7,500 Captain) but this is a Only if Dak Plays, play for me. I also think you can use Kicker Greg Zeurlein ($5,700 Captain, $3,800 Flex, $9,500 FD) as the Cowboys also may lean on Greg the Leg down the stretch in this game. Lastly, I do not mind on DK using the Cowboys Defense ($4,800 Captain, $3,200 Flex) who have really been coming on over the last couple weeks and plus CB Trevon Diggs has an interception record he is chasing.

It’s unclear if it will be Cooper Rush or Ben DiNucci who will get the start if Dak Sits. If so I will likely be limiting my Cowboys exposure to Big Zeke and Tony Pollard, only one of the TEs and only one of the WRs. Plus Greg the Leg. #Analysis

You have to like Dalvin Cook ($14,100 Captain, $9,400 Flex, $14,000 FD) at Captain/MVP Tonight. Despite the Cowboys actually holding running games to under 100 yards, Cook makes up for it with his targets and catches. Especially if Dak sits and the Cowboy’s offense has several 3 and outs over and over, I like Cook’s chances to be the top scoring Viking tonight Fantasy Points wise.

I also think you need to pay attention to the Vikings TE Tyler Conklin ($6,600 Captain, $4,400 Flex, $7,000 FD) and even a couple dart throws at Chris Herndon ($900 Captain, $600 Flex, $5,500 FD). As my #DFS Compadre Lee will tell you, the way you beat the Cowboys is with the Tight Ends. I’ll buy that tonight #Analysis.

OK so is it Justin Jefferson ($15,000 Captain, $10,000 Flex, $12,000 FD) or is it Adam Thielen ($12,600 Captain, $8,400 Flex, $11,000 FD) that you want to stack with Kirk Cousins ($16,200 Captain, $10,800 Flex, $15,000 FD). I say mix and match if you are mass multi-entering and try to get exposure to both. I think one or the other has a big game here. The Cowboys defense has been playing better so while I am less likely to use Cousins at Captain/MVP but I don’t mind using one of his primary pass catchers in that spot. Something about this game says to me Adam Thielen may be the guy you want the most of, but a big part of that is I love his price in the Flex on DK and on FD. However you can’t argue the talent of Jefferson and that is why I am saying mix and match if you are multi-entering. I will have at least one lineup with Cousins at Captain and stacked with both receivers for what it’s worth.

If you are looking for a dart throw on the Vikings it has to be WR 3 KJ Osborne ($7,500 Captain, $5,000 Flex, $8,000 FD) who has seen 7 or more targets in 3 of 6 games thus far and has 2 touchdowns including one last week. I am not as high on Kicker Greg Joseph ($5,400 Captain, $3,600 Flex, $9,000 FD) but if you are multi-entering I’d suggest having a couple shots. Also I say the same about the Vikings Defense ($3,900 Captain, $2,600 Flex) especially if Dak Sits.
